Different professions and industries often require different training for CPR and First Aid techniques. CPR 2 Geaux offers a variety of classes for whatever you need. Whether you need training and certification for your career, or you’re just trying to empower yourself with emergency response skills, CPR 2 Geaux is the place for you! Look below to see which class is right for you! All classes are AHA certified!
WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU
Your profession may require you to take only the CPR or only the First Aid courses. If you’re unsure which one you need, follow up with your employer or school to find out what the best course options are for you!
CPR & First Aid Courses
BLS for Healthcare Providers
This course is for those working in clinical settings. It teaches single-rescuer and team life support skills, including emergency recognition, chest compression technique, and ventilation delivery.
Heartsaver First Aid
This course is for those working outside of a hospital setting. It teaches students how to immediately respond to emergency situations like bleeding, sprains, broken bones, & shock, before the arrival of professional Emergency Medical Services.
Heartsaver CPR
This course teaches AHA-certified CPR techniques for application to adults, as well as how to relieve choking.
Heartsaver CPR & First Aid
This course combines the Heartsaver CPR and Heartsaver First Aid courses together to give a comprehensive learning experience in emergency medical response procedures.
Heartsaver Pediatric
This course is generally for those in childcare. It teaches first aid and CPR for child injuries and illnesses.
Heartsaver Friends & Family
This course teaches basic CPR skills for a home setting, and it is designed for groups of five or more. No CPR certification is given, but it is an opportunity for you and your friends or family to learn the skills.

CPR 2 Geaux offers both in-person and online courses. If you opt in to the online course, be sure to schedule an in-person skill session with us to get hands-on experience practicing with mannequins, First Aid, and be able to take your written test if your course requires it.

If you need urgent CPR certification for your job, CPR 2 Geaux offers one day CPR certification, in which you will receive your AHA Course Completion Card at the end of whichever course you take!
